Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) es la responsable de un prometedor servicio de catering, y Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) es un prometedor director televisivo en el campo de deportes. Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) is the person in charge of a promising service of catering, and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) is the promising television director in the sports field. After the first appointment that alone can be considered to be like disastrous, the only thing that they have jointly is the antipathy that one feels towards other one and the love that both have as Sophie, his goddaughter. But when suddenly they are the only thing that Sophie still has, Holly and Messer meet obliged to leave of a side his differences.
